Protecting people and the environment
Developing and constructing a GDF is one of the most important environmental projects of our generation. It is designed to last and protect people and the environment for hundreds of thousands of years.
We will work closely with communities to understand their concerns and to develop appropriate measures to address them.

A return to nature
Under current plans, at the end of the operation phase the surface facility would be removed, with the area being restored to natural habitat.
